The Sitong Bridge Protestor 四通桥孤勇者

3 days before the 20th Chinese Communist Party Congress (CCPC) meeting, Peng, Lifa, also known as Peng, Zaizhou, masqueraded as a construction worker and unfurled two banners over the railings of Sitong Bridge to express his opposition to the constant mandatory COVID-19 CPR tests, government-sponsored misinformation campaigns, and dictatorship of Xi Jinping.

In addition to displaying banners, Peng also burnt a rubber tyre to attract attention and set up a speaker to broadcast his manifesto: 罢课罢工罢免独裁国贼习近平 (All strike to depose dictator Xi Jinping!)

One day after the demonstration, security guards appeared over virtually all bridges in the built-up area of Beijing to prevent similar demonstrations. The official term used to recruit those security guards was '看桥员' (Bridge guards).
